Dr. Sarfraz Verjee
For over 15 years, Dr. Verjee has loved giving people the confidence they need to be proud of their smiles. He says it’s tremendously fulfilling to be able to relieve people of their anxiety and fear of the dentist thanks to his light touch and warm approach. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Verjee decided he wanted to be a dentist soon after he finished business school. He knew he wanted to work with people every day, and with dentistry being a perfect mix of art and science, this would give him a career centered around all of his passions.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Verjee began his college career at McGill University and McMaster University, and he ultimately graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry. After gaining real-world experience working as an associate dentist for a decade, he decided to open his own practice in 2018. Over the course of his career, he’s taken hours of continuing education every year so he can consistently learn new skills and improve on existing ones.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Originally from Vancouver, Dr. Verjee and his wife have two children (a daughter and son) as well as a mini Aussiedoodle that completes their family. On top of spending quality time with his friends and family, he likes to stay active by mountain biking and travel internationally whenever he can.
